Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience as a fleet coordinator of a private for-hire carrier or any other company that has extensive private freight operations.
Looking for a full-time fleet specialist for our growing operations in the Midwest and our roster of 30 drivers.
Responsibilities:
Fleet specialist will be assisting fleet managers in all facets of the transportation activities of the company, including:
- Maintain departmental compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations, mainly DOT regulations with ELD compliance.
- Recordkeeping through Motive platform.
- Assist to schedule maintenance of company vehicles.
- Negotiate with suppliers when required.
- Resolve disputes between drivers and other parties.
- Analyze the effectiveness of operations.
- Implement and enforce transportation scheduling and policy changes, including driver compliance with ELD platform.
